We then play our Cephalid Illusionist and our Shuko then we start the steamroller by equipping the Cephalid Illusionist with the Shuko over and over which starts the engine turning. Next we drop our land ,and then the Chrome Mox, tossing out the imprint card giving us the three mana we need. Alright on our first turn we draw ,at this point it dosen't matter what we draw, we hope for a card of color so we can use it for Chrome Mox and keep our Simian Spirit Guide as back up. Now they play there turn dropping a land and maybe a one drop, we hope they tap there land here, and we are set, unless they drop a Leyline of the Void or a Tormod's Crypt lol. I am tossing out the Steelshaper's Gift just in case they are playing white and that dang Mana Tithe and my Simian Spirit Guide gives me that one mana. Now on his upkeep of his first turn we drop our Gemstone Caverns and chuck out a card for the cost. Okay ,the first rule is you want to always pass that first turn if you can for the Gemstone Caverns. So now we have a Chrome Mox, a Gemstone Caverns ,and our good ol' combo both Cephalid Illusionist and Shuko, any land since they all produce blue ,and a Simian Spirit Guide and a Steelshaper's Gift. Well to play the deck we need a hand and right now we are in control of our world so we will take ummm, our god hand. The purpose of the Vedalken AEthermage is to fetch up a Cephalid Illusionist. The Simian Spirit Guide gives me that third mana if I need it. The Steelshaper's Gift allows me to get a Shuko if I need it. I wanted to give myself a couple options in case I didn't get my god hand. When I put this deck together my main focus was first turn ratio. The combo works like this, you play the Cephalid, play Shuko, and than keep equipping the Wizard, soon you're entire library will be in the graveyard, you'll have a load of Narcomoebas in play, and you can flash back Dread Return to kill with Stalking Vengeance! But coupled with Gaea's Blessing and you have yourself a pretty good set up. The Combo Alright to do this deck we are going to need a combo. What better combo than Cephalid Illusionist and Shuko. And I know for a fact that somewhere in our magic playing life each and everyone of us has wanted to, and even pulled off, a first turn kill. Although consistancy is a problem when the bell tolls and you get that god hand I don't care how long you have been playing magic, you feel, okay I'll say it, like a little kid again. Almost every magic player will raise an eye to a one turn kill deck. Well the idea of this deck stems from the hearts of all magic players young and old. Things just haven't been the same since! I think my ol' lady hates me now. With the children growing older, I decided open my own MTGO account in January of this year. But as they grow and want to run, those nights are few and far between. I am a father of four and when we have a family game night we play Magic. Hello, my name is Tim ,bubbakush online, and I have been playing MTG since Legends.
